Biography:
1975-1988: Sailed extensively offshore, mainly in the Pacific from New Zealand to Tonga, Fiji, Australia, New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Samoa plus 3 circumnavigations around New Zealand. Primarily as Navigator and later as First Mate then Captain.
1989-1992: Sailed his 50 foot sloop from New Zealand and circumnavigated the World via the Cape of Good Hope. This was primarily a cruising voyage whilst working in many countries during this period.
1992-1996: Sailed his 50 foot sloop from New Zealand via Cape Horn up through South America, Brazil. Sailed up the Amazon then cruised the Caribbean before sailing to the East Coast of North America.
1996-2002: Working as a Delivery Captain and Charter Captain for many private owners, mainly in the USA and Caribbean, including 4 transatlantic deliveries.
2002-2009: Chartering his own boat and working as Captain on other private yachts.
